Is there a weekend delivery option with FedEx?
In case of most of the postal codes corresponding to metropolitan areas, FedEx Express® does offer the option for Saturday delivery.  In case of packages shipped on Friday, shipped must opt for FedEx Priority Overnight® service after selecting the option for Saturday delivery. Similarly, FedEx 2Day® should be chosen for packages to be shipped on Thursday.  During the shipment of your package, be sure to select the special handling option for Saturday delivery.

It is possible to receive a copy of the signature of the recipient on your FedEx Ground® or FedEx Express® shipment by using the tool Signature Proof of Delivery. This facility is available for most of the shipments delivered with the United States, to Puerto Rico and to Canada.
