The Mail Order Action Line (MOAL) is a free consumer service sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association. MOAL helps resolve consumer complaints with Mail Order, mail lists and telemarketing complaints.

  • Consumers using MOAL should include the complete name of the company, copies of canceled checks (not originals), order forms and other relevant documents plus a letter summarizing the facts of the complaint.
  • It will refer the letter to the company for the consumer and ask that the company resolve the matter.
  • Most complaints sent through MOAL are resolved within 30 days.
