You can check the status of a claim as follows:
- If your claim was filed online, check the status by signing in to your account: www.usps.com/domestic-claims
- Contact Accounting Services Help Desk at 1-866-974-2733. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 8:00am to 8:00pm ET (7:00am to 7:00pm CST).
- At a minimum, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your name

- Original mail date

Sign in to your customer account at www.usps.com/domestic-claims. The status of your claim can be accessed from the "Claims History" tab.
